TGB – A community of local teenagers who visit regularly with the elderly in two government funded nursing homes and the Brooklyn Hospital. Often these senior citizens have no family and no support outside of the nursing staff. Our visits will breathe fresh air and life into a day that would otherwise have been dreary and depressing.
This program empowers the teens and gives them a chance to take social action and make the world a better place. The volunteers bring a youthful spirit and a mood of excitement to those less fortunate; whether in nursing homes or the hospital.
